Many years ago the Thapa lived at first in this village that is why the name of this village is also created "THAPA VILLAGE".  Both of cast lived with together like one family. All villager work together lived together and make festivals together and all of same religious.
This village looks like small valley. to the village   there were  the jungle  back side of the village  front side  paddy field    and after paddy field there is a another village  khati , rawol and bhandari (jolay) village  and there is tailors (dholi)  and wodha  ,right side of the village there  were rokaya , bista , gagripata, bhunnel gawn, dungri, selagawn  ,oli, unjada, moulali and  left side of the village have big dip river ( taru gadha) and  side of the river there is  big mountain . after khati  village there is moribagad  where  the big seti river the tarugadha will joined  with  seti river   and the road  for bus .
The villager has only high school, "chaudhari high school".  Which is situated in chaudhari dada where is two very big pipale trees. There a small health post, and VDC office too. The good thing is there a small local market too.
The village surroundings by mountains so if we go up to the mountain we can see many mountains and Snow Mountains too.  We can take enjoy a lot of .in the cold season the snow falls over the mountains
And village too. The village looks like a small valley it named is KANCHO NEPAL.
There is no electricity, no road system, no good drinking water system, no good irrigation system, no toilets, no bathrooms, no market, no good education, no hospital and no good communication facilities in the Thapa village. The open bathroom, toilets in the village. The villager  used  fire wood for their  cooking  and used one kind of  wood for lightening .now  a day's  somebody have  small solar for lights. Every villager has goats, buffaloes, and cows. Most of villager have butter and milks and got for meet. The farming system of the villager is old and seasonable farming system because of lack of knowledge of new tecnic or scientific tecnic.
Now a days the villager  population has going to  grow up  and lack of facilities  the young people of village have gone to  the India  and the another place for there surviving .Most of the peoples work in India  as home security guard, town watchman  and few  of them work in the company. So at this time the single women, children's, and old people and some job holders lived in the village.
Most of the houses made by mud, wood, grass and stone in the village .everybody have handmade store (kotho) for foods. The villager happy if they have got boys and give party to the villager so those who have no son the villager called them (APUTO-the local word) even they have daughters. They will try to have son even they have so many daughters. That is why many of villagers have many children's.  Some persons have another marry too. The villager has not given any party for their daughter birth.
In this village have their old system is that there were cast different. The high  cast people  would  not allowed   entered  there house  low cast people, and if they will touch each other   they will  through the water  or gold water   while the high cast people entre there  house. No eat together No married not allowed water tape together no allowed entre the temple. But the interesting is everybody is Hindus religious. Many years ago when the Thapas comes to lived there they will bring   the low cast together   for their work. So that the low cast have not more land. There is no allowed to enter the schools and study so that most of them elutriate but now they send their children's to the schools.
And  here is another thing  the  means  (Chaupadi-local language), when the women's will means  they will not allowed  inside the house and  they will live fare from the house  and  until 6 days  they will not allowed  enter the village  and touch with the peoples and animals too. Not to give them any milk or curd too. If somebody will touch chaupadi they will have bath and have some cow's peace or gold water   then he inter the house.
The Thapa villager has their Family god (KULDEWOTA- local language) the name of the god "tyadidadabhaga"and the temple of ' Naimadu'. The temple of tyadidadabhga is situated in the Thapa gairagawn. The villager have make "Hum" puja aaja a year   one times until 7 days. This will start March chitra mahina. Beginning from before 7days of chaitra astami and end in chitra astami. This time is very big festival of kuldewota. Every villager will return their house from the different places. They will fasting  every days  and in night time they will goes to the temples  and pray and do puja aaja  and dhami comes and dewota comes and  everybody ask their past feature and  present. The god will show them different ideas.  And end of the days everybody cross the goats to the god. These days will end kuldewota Puja aaja and they will go to the evening up to the Naimadu temple. Actually this temple of shivaji god.   And everybody goes there and make a puja aaja   and next days they will cross the goat and returned there house.
